The course is aimed to introduce students to the proper clinical approach to the patients with gastrointestinal and liver diseases, and endocrine diseases based on clinical and technological issues At the end of the course the students will be able in the field of liver and gastrointestinal diseases and endocrine and metabolic diseases • To recognize the presence of disease, to know the main pathogenetic mechanisms, to correctly identify the causes and to determine the phase, severity, and progression of the disease • to learn the relationship between damage, functional alteration, symptoms and therapeutic strategies • to develop a professional behavior in agreement with the principles of efficacy and effectiveness of the diagnostic methods and treatments.
