THREE-DIMENSIONAL MODELING

Course objectives

The aim of the course is to provide to students a correct methodology of diagnostic and therapeutic approach to the main diseases of the most common medical and surgical interests. At the end of the course the student must be able to take therapeutic decisions about the most common diseases. The students will also acquire general knowledge of respiratory and cardiovascular prevention, of the preparation for surgery, of postoperative complications with particular attention to infections and antibiotic treatment. At the end of the course the student must be able to make a decision aimed towards therapeutic ends in pathologies of statistical importance.

Prerequisites
The approach of this teaching module is essentially clinical and practical: we try to convey to the student knowledge that will allow them to graduate ready to start the medical profession. For this reason it is essential to have knowledge of the pathophysiology of the main cardiovascular, metabolic, respiratory and neurological pathologies with knowledge and skills of the mechanisms of action of the drugs used for these pathological conditions.
