Course objectives

Learning outcomes: At the end of the course the student must: • Know how to perform a clinical framework for the main andrologic diseases • Know how to perform the physical examination by looking for possible signs related to the reported symptoms • Know how to choose between laboratory and instrumental examinations those related to the suspected pathology • Formulate the diagnostic hypothesis by differential diagnoses • Choose the correct therapeutic procedure

Physiopathology of female reproduction and gametogenesis. Disorders of female pubertal development. Diagnostic evaluation of female and couple infertility: clinical examination, laboratory investigations, second level tests and imaging techniques. Female sexual dysfunctions. Assisted reproductive technologies. Prevention and conservation strategies for female reproductive potentials. Ethical, demographic and social issue in reproductive medicine.
Prerequisites
The student must have performed the exams of microbiology, immunology, integrated pathology III and integrated pathology IV.
