Course objectives

Inglese: The course will deepen, in the critical sense, the consumer law through the analysis of the discipline of some institutions of civil law, reviewed, furthermore, under the guidelines of the European Court of Justice jurisprudence.

Prerequisites
The course is for students who have an adequate knowledge of general civil law. Prerequisites: Private law; Civil law I.

Teaching mode
The course includes lectures, with formulation of questions and dialogic use of the arguments, examination of cases, as well as exercises and seminars.
Frequency
The course is for students who have an adequate knowledge of general Civil law. It mainly concerns voidability, reviewed under guidelines of doctrine and jurisprudence; its aim is developing students’ skills in legal analysis and critical sense through exam of specific topics that reveal general principles. It is highly recommended to attend classes and it is necessary to consult an updated civil code. There is a slightly different program for attending and not-attending students.
Exam mode
The exam is aimed at evaluating the learning and processing ability of the topics covered during the course. The verification will be carried out on the basis of the following criteria: knowledge of principles and institutes, clarity of presentation, adequate language properties, effective exposure supported by valid and legally correct arguments, ability to synthesize. To pass the exam you must obtain a grade of not less than 18/30. The student must demonstrate that he has acquired sufficient knowledge of the topics covered and is able to exhibit them with property of language and ability to make connections. To achieve a score of 30/30 cum laude, the student must demonstrate that he has acquired excellent knowledge of all the topics covered during the course, being able to link them in a logical and consistent way.

The valutazione tools are: 1) a final oral exam for evaluate comprehension of general principles, topics and capacity of connection (50%) 2) a pre written exam which consists of an essay to evaluate citrical and autonomous reasoning (25%) 3) a pre oral evaluation which consists of a public critical exposure of a case (25%)
