Ofa: methods of fulfilling additional training obligations

Students who obtain a score of less than 2 points in the ARCHED test on the Physics and Mathematics questions must fulfil the additional training obligations (OFA) in Mathematics.
The additional training obligations (OFA) are considered to have been met by having successfully taken the curricular examination of Mathematical Analysis 1 or Geometry.
In order to facilitate the students' fulfilment of the OFA, the CDS make remedial courses available to students in order to fill in previous gaps.
Failure to complete the OFA implies the impossibility, starting from the academic year following enrolment, to sit profit examinations relating to years subsequent to the first.

Graduate

The final examination consists of the discussion of a paper prepared by the candidate, within the framework of the project workshop aimed at the thesis, under the guidance of a lecturer supervisor, assisted by appropriate co-rapporteurs.
The thesis consists of the original development of a highly complex project in the field of architecture and/or building engineering and/or town planning, involving an initial research phase and a subsequent design experimentation phase.
The work must demonstrate mastery of the subjects, the ability to work independently and to critically analyse the results obtained, as well as good communication skills.
The final examination may be supplemented with internships or apprenticeships, aimed at putting the student in direct contact with the professional world and with the building industry sector according to specific programmes drawn up by the Course Council.
The internship activity may be carried out both in Italy and abroad at Faculties, professional studios and public or private bodies, activating the relevant protocols where necessary, possibly within the framework of specific agreements.
In this case, as indicated in Section F of the regulations and within the limits of what is established therein, part of the credits allocated for the final examination are attributed to the traineeship activities.
