The Course aims to provide basic mental training, cultural sensitivity and specific technical knowlwdge in the following fields: 1. Cognitive analysis of the city and its constituent components; 2. Tools for Urban planning techniques and for territorial and environmental planning; 3. Elements of Urban design.

Frequency
The course is six-monthly and includes 2 days a week of theoretical and laboratory activities
Exam mode
The evaluation concerns the verification of the activities and results of the analysis and design process carried out during the laboratories, the technical preparation which combines the knowledge together with the skills and competences acquired
Lesson mode
The course is divided into lessons and laboratories. The theoretical lessons refer to the exercises carried out during the laboratory. Outdoor activities, the use of sensors, the use of questionnaires are planned; direct knowledge of projects carried out by the teacher with the participation of the actors involved
