Course objectives
The workshop aims to present the basics of system dynamics of rigid bodies and deformable. The basics will be accompanied by experimental and / or numerical targeted application of the knowledge gained.

Course program
- Systems with 1 and 2 degrees of freedom: Free and forced vibration, vibration damping. Analysis in the time and frequency domain.
- Systems with N degrees of freedom, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, modal analysis
- Examples of experimental analysis of vibrating structures, transducers, transfer function, identification of modal parameters; Signal analysis;
Prerequisites
Knowledge of the fundamental concepts of dimensional analysis; unit of measure: international system
- Skill of using the tools of differential and integral calculus for functions with one or more variables (Analisi 1, Analisi 2)
- Knowledge and skill of using vector calculus (Geometria)
- Methodologies and elements of physics (Fisica 1)
- Mechanics of systems and rigid bodies (Fisica 1)

Teaching mode
The course will take place through lectures, during which the basic theoretical topics and related problems of vibration and dynamics will be exposed. Experimental and numerical tools for the analysis and measurement of vibrations will also be presented.

In each lesson the laboratory foresees an ongoing evaluation of the work of the groups of students.
