Space and astronautical engineering

The agreement that envisages the possibility for students on the Master of Science degree courses in Aeronautical Engineering and in Space and Astronautical Engineering to participate in a study programme for the acquisition of a double degree, i.e. the degree awarded by Sapienza and the degree awarded by ISAE Toulouse, is currently being renewed and is therefore suspended and not yet available for students enrolled in the 2025-26 academic year.

The bilateral agreement with the Georgia Institute of Technology envisages the possibility for students on the Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering and Master of Science in Space and Astronautical Engineering degree courses to participate in a study programme for the acquisition of a double degree, i.e. the degree obtained with the Sapienza and the Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering degree obtained with the Georgia Institute of Technology. The agreement is active for students enrolled from the 2020-21 academic year and envisages the first year at our courses and, once the first-year exams have been completed, the autumn semester of the second year at the European site of the Georgia Institute of Technology in France (Georgia Tech Lorraine) and the spring semester at the Atlanta site.

The bilateral agreement with the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) of Lisbon envisages the possibility for students in the Master's Degree Courses in Aeronautical Engineering and in Space and Astronautical Engineering to participate in a study programme for the acquisition of a double degree, i.e. the degree awarded by the IST and the ‘Mestrado Integrado em Engenharia Aerospacial’ degree from the ‘Instituto Superior Técnico of the Universidade de Lisboa’.
