Functions
Graduates of the Master’s Degree in Environmental and Sustainable Building Engineering, applying their skills to the resolution of complex problems, may hold positions of high responsibility within public and private bodies, engineering companies, industries operating in the building and environmental sectors, construction companies and organisations involved in territorial management services.
They may also work in the field of research, pursue independent professional practice or provide consultancy services, contributing their technical expertise to address building engineering problems from a sustainable perspective.
Skills
The Master’s Degree in Environmental and Sustainable Building Engineering aims to train professionals who, through adequate and in‑depth interdisciplinary technical preparation, are able to work as designers, production and construction managers and inspectors in the field of environmentally sustainable construction.
Graduates are expected to identify problems, analyse their complexity and develop suitable and appropriate solutions, taking into account the objectives of the United Nations Sustainable Development Agenda, particularly those related to construction, as outlined in Goal 11.
