Master’s Degree students may undertake, starting from the second semester of the second year, a 6-CFU internship as an alternative to the two 3-CFU laboratories for Other Educational Activities (AAF). The internship may be carried out outside the University at companies or local authorities, or within University laboratories.

External Internship
Students must activate external internships through the Sapienza Jobsoul Internship Management System. On the internship platform (www.jobsoul.it), it is possible to:

• Consult the list of companies and institutions affiliated with Sapienza University and send one’s CV by clicking on “Autocandidati Area Tirocini” in the “Ricerca Aziende” section;
• View and apply for internship opportunities offered by affiliated companies and institutions and published on the portal by the Internship Officers of each Faculty or Department;
• Prepare a Training Project, in agreement with the host organization, in order to activate an internship “under agreement” with the University.

Note: A company or institution, whether public or private, may activate an internship agreement with the University only if it is registered on www.jobsoul.it and has signed the relevant Agreement.
To use the services of the Sapienza Jobsoul Internship Management System, the student must:

• be registered on the platform www.jobsoul.it (to register, access “Registrazione Studenti”);
• have created and published a personal CV within their “Reserved Area”;
• have completed, within the CV, the information in the “Education and Training” section relating to the university degree program connected to the internship.

Internal Internship
Students may carry out the internship in University laboratories at the Latina or Rome campuses within research projects funded by European, national, or University funds, or through third-party contracts. Interested students may contact the Master’s Degree faculty members directly responsible for the laboratories or involved in research activities within them.

Procedures at the Academic Secretariat
Any student intending to undertake either an external or internal internship must complete the internship application and have the certificate of completion of the internship signed by the University tutor. The two forms to be submitted to the Academic Secretariat are listed below.

La prova finale prevede la stesura di una tesi che dimostri le capacità di operare in modo autonomo su di un tema inerente la sostenibilità e la sicurezza dei processi e prodotti industriali. La tesi è svolta sotto la supervisione di un docente del Consiglio d'Area o designato dallo stesso.
La tesi sviluppa, descrive e discute i risultati raggiunti durante lo svolgimento di una importante attività su tematiche teoriche, progettuali, applicativo-sperimentali dell'Ingegneria della Sicurezza. Per gli allievi che lo desiderano la prova finale potrà anche avere come argomento l'esperienza svolta all'interno del tirocinio obbligatorio svolo presso aziende pubbliche o private, nonché presso centri di ricerca o laboratori universitari per un periodo di tempo compatibile con i 6 crediti formativi previsti nel percorso formativo.

Final score
The final score is attributed according to the Criteria approved by the Board, where you will also find the guidelines for writing the final M.Sc. Thesis.

Purpose
The Excellence Program aims to enhance the education of high-achieving students enrolled in the program, who are interested in in-depth methodological and applied activities on topics relevant to Green Industrial Engineering for Sustainable Development. The Excellence Program consists of additional educational activities beyond those of the degree program in which the student is enrolled. The overall set of activities entails a maximum commitment of 150 hours per year. It does not lead to the award of CFUs (university credits) that can be used toward obtaining the academic degrees conferred by Sapienza University of Rome.

Activities
Students admitted to the Excellence Program will engage in theoretical and methodological activities (including lectures, seminars, practical exercises, and experimental activities) delivered by Faculty members or by other qualified institutions, as well as in applied and professional training activities, carried out individually and/or in groups, and coordinated by Faculty members. Erasmus students who complete part of their curriculum at a foreign university and are admitted to the Excellence Program may carry out part of the program at the host institution. Each student admitted to the Excellence Program will be assigned a tutor.

Il Career Service di Sapienza supporta le studentesse, gli studenti, le laureate e i laureati nella delicata fase di transizione dal percorso universitario al mondo del lavoro, fornendo diversi servizi tra i quali:
- assistenza e informazione sui servizi erogati;
- consulenze individuali di orientamento al lavoro;
- revisione del CV;
- catalogo formativo per l'orientamento al lavoro e lo sviluppo dell'employability;
- stipula accordi di partnership con le imprese per la realizzazione di iniziative di placement e orientamento al lavoro;
- selezioni riservate;
- organizzazione di eventi di recruiting e orientamento;
- organizzazione di Career Day.

L'accompagnamento al lavoro si concretizza con specifiche attività organizzate dal Career Service e/o da Facoltà e altre strutture di Ateneo o in collaborazione con aziende, enti esterni pubblici o privati ed associazioni di categoria.
Le attività di orientamento al lavoro possono consistere in seminari, workshop ed eventi tematici sull'orientamento al lavoro, sulle competenze trasversali e su career management skills (ad es. soft skills, redazione del cv, strategie per la ricerca attiva di lavoro, video curriculum, social network, Employability Lab ecc.)
Per favorire l'incontro con le aziende e gli enti, vengono organizzati Recruiting day, Career Day, Testimonial day, Presentazioni aziendali, visite aziendali, Assessment, Business Game, programmi di mentoring o altre iniziative inerenti al placement, comprensive di quelle con gli Alumni e le mentorship aziendali. Tali eventi possono essere realizzati sia online che in presenza e sono finalizzati alla ricerca dei profili più idonei per le opportunità professionali offerte dalle imprese.
Sono a disposizione di studentesse e studenti, laureate e laureati anche seminari, workshop ed eventi tematici dedicati al placement (ad es. innovazione, start-up, incubazione di impresa, focus sulle professioni, Innovation Camp, ecc.).

Studentesse e studenti, laureate e laureati hanno a disposizione la piattaforma informatica JobTeaser Sapienza per:
• creare e personalizzare il proprio CV;
• candidarsi alle opportunità di lavoro in linea con il proprio profilo curriculare;
• consultare l'elenco delle aziende e delle associazioni registrate in piattaforma per contattarli autonomamente;
• prenotarsi agli eventi di recruiting, alle presentazioni aziendali e ai Career Day in programma.

Ogni anno il Career Service organizza il Career Day di Ateneo, dedicato a studentesse e studenti, laureate e laureati di tutte le undici Facoltà della Sapienza, nonché diversi Career Day di Area tematica o di Facoltà quali ad esempio: Career Day Scienze Umane e Sociali; Career Day Scienze Economiche e Giuridiche; Career Day STEM.
