ELEMENTS OF ELECTRTICAL POWER PLANTS AND STATIONS
Course objectives
The course is addressed to the students of the master degree of Energy Engineering and aims at providing basic knowledge of the electrical system of production, transmission and distribution of electrical energy. The student will acquire knowledge on the operation in normal steady state and short-circuit behaviour of the transmission, subtransmission and distribution electric networks; neutral operation of the three-phase power networks, designing and verifying of LV/MV/HV lines, MV/LV networks and their protection; elements of electrical safety.
