Methods of Completion for the Complementary Educational Activity (AFC) for the Master’s Degree Program in Computer Science
Students have several options to earn the 6 ECTS credits required for an AFC:
- choose from the AFCs offered each year by the Degree Program, which include classroom lectures and individual work;
- carry out a structured activity proposed by a faculty member, which requires individual work by the student, but no classroom lectures;
- agree with a faculty member on a topic for individual work, related to a course taught by the professor or to their research activity;
- pass the exam of a course not included in the student's completion plan, which can then be recorded as an AFC;
- obtain validation from the Committee for the Recognition of Extracurricular Activities for an activity carried out outside the University, to be recognized as an AFC.
