Course objectives

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING. To learn the fundamental elements of the technical‐scientific writing and interpersonal communication, tools that the graduates in scientific and technological disciplines in any sector use to disseminate data, facts, opinions, recommendations to the colleagues and the professional community where they will be involved. CAPABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING. Capability to write a thesis, a summary, a report, an article, following the rules of the text canonical structure and starting from the plan of the communication objectives and the reader/listener characteristics. Knowledge of the psycho‐relational approaches to power the effectiveness of the public speaking, the stimulus of the personal creativity and the capability of supervision and leading. MAKING AUTONOMOUS JUDGEMENTS. Ability to critically and competently evaluate approaches and solutions to problems of technical‐scientific communications. COMMUNICATE SKILLS. Ability to describe problems and solutions adopted to tackle issues of technical‐scientific communications. LEARNING SKILLS. Ability to broaden and deepen their knowledge on advanced topics of technical‐scientific communications.

Prerequisites
reading and study of scientific texts, in Italian and English; production of a bachelor's degree paper.
