Exam mode
The assessment will take place through a written exam at the end of the course during the winter, summer, or autumn examination sessions, covering the entire content of the course.
In addition to the written exam, students are required to prepare a first report based on a case study concerning the production of manufactured goods selected by the student, involving operations to be carried out with suitable plants or machinery. Particular attention must be paid to improving the sustainability of the product/process.
A second report will focus on statistical process control, analyzing data sets provided by the instructor.
The exercises will be carried out individually or in groups of up to 3–5 people.
The final grade will be a weighted average including the oral exam.
