Presentation
The Master’s degree program in Statistical Sciences aims to develop a professional figure that combines a solid methodological foundation in statistical disciplines with the ability to apply them both in the specific contexts outlined in the three tracks (Biostatistics, Data Analytics, and Social Demography) and in other application contexts, thanks to the acquisition of a general approach to addressing and solving concrete problems. The program aims to develop a professional profile characterized by a high capacity to manage the entire process of data acquisition, representation, and analysis for explanatory or decision-making purposes, with regard to complex phenomena in various concrete contexts. The combination of theoretical learning and the resolution of case studies allows graduates to embark, from the very beginning of the program, on a process of continuous professional development and increasing autonomy in evidence-based decision-making.
