Communication and Interpretation in Italian Sign Language (LIS and LISt)

A) Knowledge and understanding: the student will acquire knowledge on the articulation of the voice and how to improve verbal communication skills for the profession of interpreter and mediator. B) Ability to apply knowledge and understanding: the student will be able to understand and apply in his profession the knowledge and techniques related to the use of the voice. C) Autonomy of judgment: confronting with other professionists, the student will be able to measure his/her ability and consciously manage the different levels of voice expression. D) Communication skills: the student will be able to explain and communicate the productive aspects of voice, breathing, speaking times and speaking shifts, linked to the profession of professional interpreter; E) Learning skills: the student will have the necessary tools to improve, even independently, the knowledge and techniques related to timbral, intonative, rhythmic and phonological aspects of the voice.
