Ofa: methods of fulfilling additional training obligations
For the remediation of OFAs the Faculty of Humanities and Philosophy organises a course on Moodle entitled OF@SAPIENCE - Italian Section, which can be accessed from the Minimum Knowledge section with one's Sapienza credentials, allowing students to practise online while following the video lectures and taking the self-assessment tests. It is also possible to refer to tutors who will guide students if they need further help.
Additional training obligations (OFAs) are deemed to be fulfilled
- either by passing the examination, which is held three times a year at the Faculty of Humanities and Philosophy (consult the Faculty's web page in the Orientation section to choose the date you prefer)
- or by taking the curricular examination: "General Linguistics V" scheduled in the first year of the course of study.
For the 2025/2026 academic year, four OFA tests have been scheduled: - January 8, 2026, 10:00-12:00
- March 2, 2026, 10:00-12:00
- June 8, 2026, 10:00-12:00
- September 9, 2026, 10:00-12:00
Other training activities that award credits
In addition to internships, which are carried out at public institutions or private companies, the Degree Course in Linguistic and Intercultural Mediation promotes training activities (Conferences, Workshops, Study Days) aimed at broadening students' knowledge and skills with a view to their future entry into the world of work. In this regard, it is worth noting in particular, on the initiative of the CdS, the activation
- of a three-year Faculty agreement with the UCRI (Union of Romanés Communities in Italy), which has made it possible, in the 2024/2025 academic year, to hold an 18-hour AAF course (for 3 CFUs) on "Romani language and culture". This initiative, in light of the high level of approval received from the student body, will be repeated in the two years to come, and hopefully renewed in the future.
- of a three-year Faculty agreement with Studio Legale Dotto-Antonazzi, which will allow, in the A.A. 2025/2026 and in the following two-year period, the holding of an 18-hour AAF course (for 3 CFUs) on "Negotiation Techniques and Strategies with Subjects from Different Cultures".
You will find all the information about the placements offered and how to complete and report them on this page
