The Study Course in Linguistic and Intercultural Mediation is a three-year degree course with programmed access established within the L12 Degree Class.
The educational objectives, expected learning outcomes and professional outlets are indicated in the Study Course Regulations.
Graduates of the Degree Course in Linguistic and Intercultural Mediation will have the possibility to access a Master's Degree Course, according to the provisions of the regulations of each Course, or a first-level Master's Degree Course according to the regulations of the University that organises it.
The Study Course is structured in a single curriculum.
The curriculum provides for the study of two languages until a medium-high level of linguistic and communicative competence (written and oral) is achieved, as well as knowledge of the relevant cultural heritage. The curriculum is divided into nine examinations in the basic and characterising disciplines (Foreign Languages and Cultures, for a total of 96 CFU), two examinations in the basic disciplines (General Linguistics and Italianistics, 24 CFU), four/five examinations in the related and supplementary disciplines (in the fields of history, geography, law, economics and political sciences, for a total of 30 CFU), two/three examinations of the students' choice (for a total of 18 CFU), an aptitude test to be taken in Internships and/or Other Formative Activities (6 CFU), and a final examination consisting in the writing of a paper to be discussed in public (6 CFU).
For the structure of the courses, the specific educational objectives of the subjects, the relative CFUs and the hours of face-to-face teaching for each course, please refer to the Educational Offer published annually on the Course of Study page.
