Organizational and Regulatory Framework for Curricular Internships in the L-42 Degree Programme
For initial guidance and further information, students may contact the Degree Programme Coordinator responsible for internships. During the examination session, the same faculty member verifies the accuracy of the documentation certifying the activities carried out by students and records the final allocation of ECTS credits (CFU) in the official examination record.
Each curriculum retains its autonomy in determining which educational activities (AAF) may be considered eligible for the allocation of the corresponding CFU credits. For the Cultural Anthropology curriculum, students are always required to attend a preliminary meeting with the curriculum coordinator before undertaking any internship activity or training opportunity, in order to establish its implementation modalities in light of the discipline’s specific requirements.

1. Final Allocation of CFU Credits in the L-42 Degree Programme
The final allocation of CFU credits by the curriculum coordinators is based on the documentation submitted by students during the examination session.
Official documentation consists of:

• the internship certificate/final report signed by the host institution where the internship was completed, countersigned by the Faculty Internship Office, together with the attendance register, as required by the TSP platform;

or alternatively,

• a certificate issued by the organizers of other educational activities recognized by the Degree Programme (in this case, certificates must clearly indicate the student's name and registration number, attendance records, hours completed, and must be duly signed by the organizers).

For credit registration, students must enroll through Infostud in one of the examination sessions scheduled by the curriculum coordinator.
Students should consult the webpages of the individual curriculum coordinators for specific instructions regarding documentation submission and credit registration procedures.
2. Procedures for Curricular Internships in the L-42 Degree Programme
a) TSP Platform and Accredited Institutions
Internships are primarily managed through the University's TSP portal:

Through the platform, students can identify available internship opportunities. The platform is used by host organizations, the Faculty Internship Office, and students for:

• defining the training project;
• organizing internship activities;
• recording internship hours;
• certifying completed activities.

Proposals for new internship agreements with institutions not yet included in the TSP platform must follow the procedures established by University and Faculty regulations. Any collaboration with external institutions, including newly accredited organizations, must be formally certified through the University's TSP platform, which must also be used for the management and reporting of all internship activities.
b) Calls for Applications and International Mobility
Students may participate in internships offered through internal calls or by external organizations recognized by the University (e.g., the Quirinale Palace Call, Sapienza 38 Call, etc.).
Students may also request recognition of activities carried out during Erasmus+ mobility periods as internships, in accordance with the provisions established by the relevant calls and regulations.
c) Other Equivalent Activities
The following activities are considered equivalent to other educational activities and may contribute to the acquisition of CFU credits:

1. Civil service activities, provided they are consistent with the student's educational pathway;
2. Participation in calls, internships, and support programmes for University libraries and museums, including collaboration grants;
3. Participation in collaboration grant programmes within University facilities, excluding laboratories in mathematics, physics, natural sciences, medicine, psychology, and related disciplines.

To be eligible for CFU recognition, these activities must be carried out during the student's period of enrollment and academic career.
The Degree Programme may also recognize additional initiatives as equivalent to internships, including, but not limited to:

• laboratories;
• workshops;
• seminars and conferences;
• summer schools;
• training activities organized by the Sapienza Library and Museum System.

For each initiative, the number of recognisable CFU credits and participation requirements are specified. Certificates of participation are issued by the organizers of the individual activities, whom students should contact for further information.

Please note: activities not included in this list or not previously approved by the curriculum coordinator will not be recognized.

Unless otherwise specified, the activities listed below are valid for the curricula in Medieval History and Palaeography, Modern and Contemporary History, and Historical and Religious Studies.
Students should contact the coordinators of the individual activities for information regarding participation procedures and available CFU credits.

• Participation in MuSa, provided it is appropriately certified, according to the provisions established by the Sapienza Academic Senate Resolution of 23 April 2013.
