Course program
The student will be involved in a wide selection of field and lab activities. Excavation, Rome. Northern and southern slopes of the Palatine and / or Laboratory of analysis and elaboration of the excavation documentation and / or Laboratory of cataloging and study of ceramic finds and / or Laboratory: architectural analysis and cartography preliminary to the stratigraphic investigation or recording of activities carried out in collaboration with external offices.

The laboratory will take place in the II Semester and will be held in presence. It foresees a series of frontal lessons on the main productions of terra sigillata pottery in the Mediterranean and some practical activities: drawing of pottery and preliminary classification procedure.

For the didactic activities foreseen by this course, no particular requirement is needed except those acquired during the study programme in Archaeological Sciences of the three-year Bachelor degree (or equivalent).
