Course program
The course aims to introduce students to the study of contemporary Spanish poetry by refining their critical skills in the analysis of literary text. An anthology will be proposed of the production of some of the major Spanish post-war poets and of the Novísimos generation including Gabriel Celaya, José Hierro, Jaime Gil de Biedma, Ricardo Molina, Pablo García Baena, Ángel González, Guillermo Carnero, María Victoria Atencia, Antonio Colinas, Clara Janés, Jaime Siles, Luis García Montero, Aurora Luque, Beatriz Hernanz Angulo and Juan Antonio González Iglesias.
Prerequisites
The course is aimed at students who have achieved at least 12 credits of Spanish Literature in the Triennial course. For students not in possession of these prerequisites or coming from non-linguistic CdS, the teacher reserves the right to assign additional readings to allow a more adequate use of the course contents.

Exam mode
The final exam will consist of an oral interview in which they will have to propose the analysis of a text among those included in the exam program demonstrating that they have learned the methodology and contents of the course.
Lesson mode
The lessons will take place mainly in frontal mode, but seminar activities and interventions by the students will also be foreseen.
