Frequency
Attendance is compulsory.
Exam mode
The teacher will assess each individual student’s Portfolio and provide feedback. If the work uploaded into the Portfolios reveal improvement in students’ knowledge of an ability to draft a medical abstract in English, their performance will be considered satisfactory. The teacher may still ask the students for clarifications concerning the material collected and the work is done (discussion). Should the material in the Portfolio prove incomplete and/or imprecise (therefore insufficient), students will be required to rectify or redo one or more of their activities until demonstrating that they have acquired the knowledge and skill required by the course. Deadlines for the presentation of Portfolios are published on the e-learning platform and coincide with the normal exam sessions foreseen by the academic calendar (summer, autumn and winter).
