THREE-DIMENSIONAL MODELING

Course objectives

At the end of the course the student must have knowledge of the principles of Epidemiology applied to dentistry, and the main Indices and indicators for bio-demographic and health through the balance of derivation, composition, intensity and duration. The parameters related to mortality and morbidity: the general and specific rates: indicators of the incidence of morbidity and hospital admissions. Epidemiological studies. Theory and practice of diagnostic test.

Critical analysis of publications in the dental field by: Clinical trials Validation of diagnostic tests Construction of clinical scales and questionnaires Reports of predictive and prognostic studies
Prerequisites
Students must have passed the medical statistics tests relating to the first year of the course of study

Frequency
Students must attend Medical Statistics lessons for at least 67% of the total hours.

Written test with a combination of multiple choice questions and open questions
