In particular, the course aims to provide the student with the cognitive and methodological tools necessary to relate the peculiar characteristics of microorganisms with the beginning and evolution of infection diseases; apply the knowledge of the biology of microorganisms to the choice of drugs for the therapy of microbial diseases, and to the choice of the prevention methods.
