Course objectives

Know and know how to use the extraction tools Know and know how to perform local anesthesia techniques Know the indications and contraindications for tooth extraction Know and know how to use the non-surgical extraction technique Know and be able to apply the methods of surgical semiotics Knowing how to evaluate the surgical operability of the compromised patient from a systemic point of view, knowing how to adopt the appropriate therapeutic measures and knowing how to manage the preparation for surgery and the post-operative course from a medical point of view. Know and be able to perform the incision, detachment and suture of the flaps used in oral surgery Know and know how to perform the surgical extraction technique, in particular that of the roots and the uncomplicated one of dental elements Know the pre-operative assessment, planning and surgical technique for the extraction of impacted third molars Know the accidents and complications of tooth extractions and know how to manage prevention and treatment Know the diagnostic-therapeutic problems inherent in post-extraction oro-sinus communications.
