Course program
Practical activities, laboratory activities and / or exercises: 20 hours
Prerequisites
in order to understand the teaching content and to achieve the learning objectives, at the beginning of the didactic activities foreseen by the didactic module the student must possess the knowledge on dental anatomy and anatomy of the head / neck, dental materials and prosthetic technologies.
Books
For the examination of the exam, we suggest a theoretical deepening already from the beginning of the course attendance. For the purpose of consultation and in-depth study, the recommended books are: Marino G. Guida al successo in protesi mobile completa. Edizioni Martina. Preti G. La protesi parziale rimovibile. Piccin. Prosper L. Bioestetica nella riabilitazione orale. Quintessenza Edizioni.
Teaching mode
The teacher delivers lectures with traditional methods with audiovisual aids and scheduling of lessons as reported on the GOMP Classroom/Timetable System, published on the website of the Dental School.
Frequency
The Regulations of the School, the student is required to attend educational and professional activities. The frequency is checked by the teachers through signature / updated lists provided by the Academic Office, as established by CCL. The certificate of mandatory attendance to the teaching course is required to the student to be admitted at the final test and at the qualification for the profession.
Exam mode
To pass the exam, the student must demonstrate that he has acquired sufficient and basic knowledge of prosthetic topics and is able to perform a correct prosthetic diagnosis and treatment plan. In addition, the student must instead demonstrate that he has acquired excellent knowledge of all the topics covered in the course, being able to connect them in a logical and coherent manner. The tests are barred with oral and practical modes of administration. All tests contribute to the determination of the final grade.
Lesson mode
The teacher delivers the professionalizing teaching in traditional mode/on simulators and scheduling of lessons as reported on the GOMP Classroom/Timetable System , published on the website of the Dental School.

Following paragraph 4.5 of the Regulations of the Dental School, the student is required to attend educational activities, formal, non-formal, vocational. The frequency is checked by the teachers through signature / updated lists provided by the Academic Office, as established by CCLMOPD. The certificate of mandatory attendance to the teaching course is required to the student to be admitted at the final test.
Exam mode
Each exam session includes a practical part and an oral part which take place simultaneously. The outcome of the test determines an overall assessment of the student's work, but if the student is insufficient to the practical test, he / she is not qualified to carry out the rest of the exam.

Lesson mode
The teacher provides the professionalizing clinical teaching with traditional methods, the student adequately assisted by specialized personnel is guided to apply the theoretical concepts previously learned to the patient practically on the patient, the scheduling of the activities is reported on the GOMP Classroom System and published on the website of the School. Prerequisites
In order to understand the teaching content and achieve the learning objectives, at the beginning of the didactic activities foreseen by the course it is essential that the student possesses adequate knowledge of anatomy, pharmacology, general pathology, special pathology dentistry, diagnostic imaging, anesthesiology, medical sciences and histopathology. The following propaedeutics are foreseen: anatomy, general pathology, special pathology odontostomatology, diagnostic imaging, anesthesiology, medical sciences, anatomy pathological.

Exam mode
To pass the exam it is necessary to achieve a grade of not less than 18/30 in each module. The student must demonstrate that he has acquired sufficient knowledge of the topics covered during the course. To achieve a score of 30/30 cum laude, the student must instead demonstrate that he has acquired an excellent knowledge of all the topics covered during the course, arguing a linear reasoning with the use of technical terms and making use of correct linguistic expressions.

The teacher provides professionalizing teaching in the U.O.C of Oral Surgery The course consists in carrying out professionalizing activities, scheduled with frequency continuous, which provide for the preparation of the instruments and the execution of the procedures outpatient surgery, with tutorial assistance.
