Course program
The programme will be divided into the following general thematic areas: 1) introduction to the infantile clinical psychology and theoretical clinical investigation of "Developmental Psychopathology"; 2) area of relational development, which includes emotional regulation, attachment and autistic spectrum disorders; 3) area of affective development, which includes anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders and phobias; 4) area of reactive behaviour development, which includes impulse control disorders.
Prerequisites
For an adequate study of the subject and for a clear and articulated understanding of the teaching materials, the student should have the following prerequisites: a) basic knowledge of dynamic psychology and developmental psychology (important); b) knowledge of the historical evolution of psychodynamic models of functioning of the psychic apparatus (useful). The teaching will in any case offer all students the necessary elements to acquire the above competences.

Frequency
Attending the course is highly recommended and will allow the student to understand the main theoretical models of infant psychopathology applied to clinical situations presented in the classroom. In particular, through a series of teaching aids, such as reading clinical protocols, or viewing filmed material, the student will be helped to orient himself in clinical interviews with infants and children and in understanding specific aspects of infants and children mental functioning.
Exam mode
The exam consists in a written and/or oral test.
EVALUATION CRITERIA AND PARAMETERS
· Less than 18: insufficient level of competence. The student does not achieve any of the learning outcomes pro-vided for in the point "knowledge and understanding",
18-20: sufficient level of competence. The student achieves the learning outcomes provided for in the point "knowledge and understanding",
21-23: fully sufficient level of competence. The student achieves the learning outcomes envisaged in the points "knowledge and understanding" and "applied knowledge and understanding",
24-26: good level of competence. The student achieves the learning outcomes envisaged in the points "knowledge and understanding"; "applied knowledge and understanding" and "independent judgment",
27-29: very good level of competence. The student achieves the learning outcomes envisaged in the points "knowledge and understanding", "applied knowledge and understanding", "independent judgment" and "com-munication skills",
30 and 30 cum laude: excellent level of competence. The student fully achieves the learning outcomes envisaged in the points "knowledge and understanding"; "applied knowledge and understanding"; "autonomy of judg-ment"; "communication skills" and "ability to learn".

The course is organized as follows:
- lectures will cover the course topics;
- video clips will be projected to better understand the key role of the relational perspective in understand-ing developmental processes;
