The assessment sums up the results of the individual participation together with the evaluation of the group work and the results of the written exam. As regards the group work (presentations, summaries, discussions of cases, etc.) the following criteria are taken into consideration: the quality of elaboration, the execution of exercises, the ability to sum up and expose in a clear way, the ability to criticlaly analyse theoretical concepts, the ability to connect the topics/themes/theoretical-methodological issues covered, a reflexive ability, the use of an appropriate methodology. As regards the evaluation of the written test, the evaluation criteria are: the knowledge and ability to learn, the ability to apply knowledge, the ability to draw conclusions, the communication skills (e.g., the ability to structure a written text; a proper spelling; descriptive and argumentative skills; the use of appropriate terminology and bibliographic references), the Reflexive approach on work/experience.
Lesson mode
The course will be delivered in a frontal format through an initial part dedicated to explaining the constructs and theoretical-methodological references. From the beginning of the course, however, each participant will be assigned to a fixed working group through which they will have the opportunity to address various group and in-depth tasks assigned by the lecturer. The course format is particularly interactive, allowing for the live experimentation of many skills required for future social workers (ability to conduct an interview, presentation of complex concepts, mirroring, reformulation, facilitation of group discussion processes, feedback on territorial table work, etc.). Each participant will take his/her turns facilitating group discussions and presenting work in plenary sessions.
