NOTICES AND NEWS

Apprenticeship

Internship 6 credits
Internship credits are earned through internal and/or external training activities, as explained below.
Training activities are recorded as an internship as part of the degree application procedures (see Graduating section).
Internal AAF
The provisional and non-definitive list for the 2025-2026 academic year is available at the following link:
go to the page.
At the end of the activity, the professor will issue a certificate (see forms), which must be sent to the academic secretariat when applying for graduation.
* The list of training activities may be subject to changes/additions during the academic year in question; please consult the list regularly.
External AAF
External training activities must be carried out in the form of an internship through the TSP Sapienza platform.
For general information and contact details, see https://smfn.web.uniroma1.it/it/tirocini .
External activities must be approved by a CAD (Teaching Area Council) before they begin.
When you start the procedure on TSP Sapienza, you must send the request for approval of the external AAF to the teaching office at didattica.dba@uniroma1.it. You must then confirm the approval of the training project by the Internship Office and send a copy by email.
The CAD must also request approval of credits at the end of the internship. In this case, you must send (again to didattica.dba@uniroma1.it) the credit assignment request form, attaching documentation proving the completion of the external AAF (TSP Sapienza final report).
For those who have already attended training courses in Sustainability Sciences before February 1, 2022, the credit assignment request alone is sufficient, which must be sent to the teaching office along with a copy of the certificate(s).
Please note: Courses taken after February 1, 2022 will no longer be recognized as AAF.

IMP: Before starting your thesis work, you must send the thesis assignment form to the academic secretariat by email, copying your supervisor (see forms).

*Request for recognition of English language proficiency: see the "Other credit-granting educational activities" section.

Graduate

For the final exam, an adequate number of credits are allocated to the preparation and discussion of a dissertation that certifies the acquisition of the theoretical knowledge and practical skills developed during the course of study.
The degree grade takes into account the weighted average, based on credits, of the grades obtained in the exams for the various courses, and of the final dissertation, as detailed in the academic regulations.

Important: Before starting your thesis work, you must submit the thesis assignment form (see forms) to the Academic Secretariat by email to didattica.dba@uniroma1.it, copying your supervisor.
In the "Graduand Reminder" published on the university website, you will find:

Procedures for the Academic Office
Registration of internship training activities (approximately 30 days before the graduation session):

Starting in the 2020-2021 academic year, internship credits will be registered through specific exam sessions on Infostud, opened by Professor Falasca with the code AAF1044 (6 credits).
To register your internship, you must book according to the normal exam procedures and send the Academic Office a copy of the certificates relating to the training activities completed, indicating the year of enrollment and confirming your booking for the chosen exam session, to the Academic Office.
If you are unable to view the exam session on Infostud, you must send a booking email to the Academic Office. Credits will be registered according to the previous internal procedures.
If you fail to submit all the documentation in a timely manner, you will NOT be able to register your internship credits and you will NOT be able to graduate in the chosen session.
Submitting the Final Paper
For the bachelor's degree program, the thesis cannot be uploaded to Infostud. However, a PDF copy of the thesis, signed by you and your supervisor(s), must be sent to didattica.dba@uniroma1.it 15 days prior.
On the day of the graduation session, you must bring a hard copy for viewing only (it will be returned to you).
Please remember that the information on the Infostud degree application must match the title page of the thesis. If there is a discrepancy between the title, supervisor, co-supervisor, and any external/additional supervisors, the Student Office and the Academic Secretariat are not required to make the change in a timely manner. In this case, your participation in the graduation ceremony CANNOT be guaranteed.
NB: Confirmation of receipt of submitted forms and documents is not provided. If there are any problems, the academic office will contact you directly. However, you can always request a confirmation of receipt of the email sent.
(see forms).

Job Orientation

Sapienza's Career Service supports students and graduates during the delicate transition from university to the world of work, providing a variety of services, including:
- assistance and information on services provided;
- individual career counseling;
- CV review;
- training catalog for career guidance and employability development;
- partnership agreements with companies for placement and career guidance initiatives;
- confidential selections;
- organization of recruiting and orientation events;
- organization of Career Days.

Career guidance takes the form of specific activities organized by the Career Service and/or by faculties and other university departments, or in collaboration with companies, external public or private organizations, and trade associations.
Career guidance activities may consist of seminars, workshops, and themed events on career guidance, transferable skills, and career management skills (e.g., soft skills, CV writing, active job search strategies, video CVs, social networks, Employability Lab, etc.).
To facilitate contact with companies and organizations, we organize Recruiting Days, Career Days, Testimonial Days, company presentations, company visits, assessments, business games, mentoring programs, or other placement-related initiatives, including those with alumni and company mentorships. These events can be held both online and in person and are aimed at identifying the most suitable candidates for the professional opportunities offered by companies.
Seminars, workshops, and thematic events dedicated to placement (e.g., innovation, start-ups, business incubation, career focus, Innovation Camp, etc.) are also available to students and graduates.

Students and graduates can use the JobTeaser Sapienza online platform to:
• create and customize their CV;
• apply for job opportunities that match their profile;
• consult the list of companies and associations registered on the platform to contact them independently;
• register for recruiting events, company presentations, and scheduled Career Days.

Every year, the Career Service organizes the University Career Day, dedicated to students and graduates from all eleven Sapienza Faculties, as well as various Career Days by subject area or Faculty, such as: Career Day for Humanities and Social Sciences; Career Day for Economics and Law; and Career Day for STEM.

Services, the calendar of events, and opportunities for students and graduates are published on the University website at the following page: https://www.uniroma1.it/it/pagina/career-service-studenti-e-laureati
The Career Service manages its social media channels (Facebook, X, and LinkedIn) where it promotes services, calls for applications, competitions, and other opportunities for students and graduates.
