Degree programme choice orientation

Since 2023, the STESS Degree Program (Social Work and Social Policies for Global Sustainability) has been part of a national network of 26 universities participating in the POT project (serviziosociale.pot), and actively contributes to the core working group responsible for the coordination of systemic actions.

As part of this initiative, the program has launched the design and pilot implementation of workshop-based learning pathways aimed at developing transversal skills essential for social work education. These activities are also aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN 2030 Agenda and are specifically addressed to secondary school students and teachers.

In the upcoming academic year 2024–2025, the program aims to draft and disseminate nationally applicable intervention protocols, which will serve as practical guidelines to be implemented across schools and academic institutions involved in social work training.
