International experiences

In order to enhance the internationalisation of students, the Degree Programme in Sociology has appointed a faculty member as RAM (Mobility Administrative Coordinator) specifically responsible for managing and promoting student mobility within the Sociology area.
Among the various initiatives, the RAM offers individual tutoring and academic advising to students planning a study period at partner universities abroad. These personalised sessions help students design coherent and academically relevant Learning Agreements.
In collaboration with the Departmental Erasmus Office, the RAM has also contributed to the production of informational materials, including a dedicated video outlining Erasmus+ mobility opportunities and available scholarships. This video has been shared with faculty members and students through regular teaching activities and institutional communication channels. It is also publicly available on the Department’s website (DiSSE):

As for institutional partnerships, over the past academic year the Department has pursued a dual strategy:
Expanding the number of Erasmus+ agreements with European universities;
Monitoring and reviewing existing agreements to identify those most aligned with the learning objectives and academic structure of the Sociology curriculum.
Furthermore, based on a resolution of the Department Council, it has been decided that students who participate in Erasmus+ mobility during their studies will be granted two additional points towards their final degree score, in recognition of the educational value of international academic experiences.
