Job Orientation

Sapienza Career Service
Sapienza's Career Service supports students and graduates in the crucial transition from university to the labour market by offering a wide range of services, including:

  • information and assistance regarding available services;
  • one-to-one career counselling sessions;
  • CV review and feedback;
  • a training catalogue for career orientation and employability development;
  • partnerships with companies for the implementation of placement and career guidance initiatives;
  • targeted job selections;
  • organisation of recruiting and career orientation events;
  • organisation of Career Days.

Career support activities are implemented by the Career Service itself and/or by Faculties and other University structures, often in collaboration with private and public companies, institutions, and professional associations.
Career orientation initiatives include seminars, workshops, and thematic events focused on career guidance, soft skills, and career management skills (e.g. CV writing, job search strategies, video résumés, professional use of social networks, Employability Labs, etc.).
To promote direct interaction with companies and organisations, the University organises events such as Recruiting Days, Career Days, Testimonial Days, company presentations, site visits, assessment sessions, business games, and mentoring programmes, including alumni mentoring and corporate mentorship initiatives. These events are offered both in-person and online and aim to match candidate profiles with current job openings.
In addition, seminars and events on innovation, start-ups, business incubation, and professional pathways (e.g. Innovation Camps) are regularly offered to enhance placement opportunities.
Students and graduates also have access to the JobTeaser Sapienza platform, which allows them to:

  • create and customise their CVs;
  • apply for job opportunities matching their academic and professional profiles;
  • explore the list of companies and organisations registered on the platform and make direct contact;
  • register for recruitment events, company presentations, and upcoming Career Days.

Each year, the Career Service organises a University-wide Career Day open to students and graduates of all eleven Faculties, as well as area-specific Career Days, including:

  • Career Day for Humanities and Social Sciences;
  • Career Day for Economics and Law;
  • Career Day for STEM disciplines.

All services, event calendars, and career opportunities are published on the University's official website:
