Le AAF devono essere verbalizzate come qualsiasi altro esame, prenotandosi ad uno degli appelli disponibili, di norma previsti a ridosso della data fissata come termine per conseguire i CFU necessari per ogni sessione di laurea.
Le AAF possono essere verbalizzate solo unitariamente (non è possibile cioè verbalizzare solo parte dei crediti).
Alla scadenza delle prenotazioni invierò il collegamento a un modulo google che permetterà di caricare i documenti per la verbalizzazione.
Non inviare certificati in modi o periodi diversi.
Per distinguere i documenti - che vengono raccolti in una stessa cartella da me e dal prof. Faraoni - Vi prego di rinominare i file seguendo il formato "GIAMMONA_COGNOME STUDENTE_MATRICOLA" (per es. Giammona_Rossi_12334567, ecc.); se i file sono più di uno, aggiungete uno spazio e un numero progressivo.

Programme The course will deal with the examination of some "loci critici" of the «Ars Prisciani», verifying the most recent hypothesis of reconstruction of the "stemma codicum" through the collation of some passages in selected carolingian manuscripts.
Adopted texts Being a seminar-type course, students will receive from the teacher the reproductions of the manuscripts that will be examined.
Prerequisites This course is intended as an advanced one: students are recommended to have attended a basic module of Classical Philology or to have gained (independently or by other courses) a good knowledge of the discipline.
Study modes The lessons will be carried on in a traditional way.The teacher will guide the students in the examination of the apparatus, and in the direct reading of the manuscripts; a special attention will be given to the strategy of composition of a layered text.
Frequency modes Attendance is recommended
Exam modes The examination aims to evaluate the acquisition of the necessary skills to independently approach the study of a text's transmission, by commenting the loci examined in class.

Programme This course is structured in two parts:in the first, the teacher will explain the issues related with the composition and the transmission of the classical texts, and with the formation of the modern principles of philological inquiry and textual criticism. We will examine in detail texts related to the issues proposed;in the second, the teacher will guide the class in reading manuscripts and comparing their texts, in order to produce a critical edition. Study modes The lessons will be held in the traditional way; the first part of the course will be held mostly in the frontal form, in the second part the students will be actively involved in the reading and interpretation of the texts.
Frequency modes Attendance is not compulsary: those students who will choose not to attend the lessons are invited to conctat the teacher.
Exam modes The final examination will verify the knowledge of issues pertaining the trasmission of classical texts, and the acquisition of philological methods, alsto through the critical evaluation of the examples discussed during the course or in the assigned textbooks.

Il ricevimento si svolge il lunedì e il mercoledì dalle 11 alle 13 nella stanza docente (secondo piano, stanza 7).
Claudio Giammona è laureato in Lettere Classiche alla Sapienza, dove ha anche ottenuto il titolo di dottore di ricerca in Filologia e storia del Mondo Antico.
Nel 2011 è stato assegnista di ricerca nell'ambito del progetto PRIN "Traduzione vs innovazione in età tardoantica", coordinato dal prof. Leopoldo Gamberale; nel 2012 e nel 2014 è stato assegnista di ricerca presso la Sapienza. Dal Dicembre 2016 è stato Ricercatore in Filologia Classica (FIL-LET/05), presso la stessa univerisità, dov ricopre ora il ruolo di professore associato.
Ha studiato e pubblicato il trattato "De Accentibus" attribuito a Prisciano; si è poi occupato delle modalità di ricezione di materiali grammaticali antichi e tardo-antichi nelle opere artigrafiche prodotte nei primi secoli del medioevo, in particolar modo nei testi dedicati alla grammatica elementare. Queste ricerche hanno portato alla prima edizione a stampa delle tre redazioni della cosiddetta "Ars Ambianensis", con un commento completo della sezione relativa alla flessione nominale.
Ha preso parte a diversi progetti di ricerca: "L insegnamento del latino nel mondo tardo antico" (2007), "Testi esemplari nell uso scolastico tardoantico: lessico, sintassi, traduzioni" (2009), "Letteratura, traduzione, scuola in età tardo antica" (2010), "Tradizione, trasmissione, innovazione" (2012), "Itinerari filologici: storie di testi, di codici, di biblioteche" (2013), "Strade della filologia, corsi e percorsi tra testi, codici, biblioteche" (2014), "Usi e riusi della classicità dall Antichità, all Umanesimo, alla Riforma" (2015), "Linking Evidence. A Digital Approach to Medieval and Early Renaissance Rome" (2017).
È responsabile dell'unità locale del progetto PRIN "Le tradizioni della linguistica antica: testi e contesti degli studi grammaticali nel mondo romano" (P.I. prof. Mario De Nonno), e partecipa al progetto PAGES - Priscian's Ars Grammatica in European Scriptoria (ERC 2020, P.I. prof.ssa Michela Rosellini).
