Sono ricercatrice (RTT) a Sapienza Università di Roma ed ex fellow Marie Skłodowska-Curie (2021-2024) con un progetto intitolato "Transnational Maghreb and the International Prize for Arabic Fiction: Pluralism, inclusiveness, and peaceful coexistence in the contemporary Maghrebi novel" (TRANSECT). Ho conseguito un dottorato di ricerca interamente finanziato da Sapienza con una tesi su spazio e luogo nell’opera dello scrittore e critico giordano Ghalib Halasa (1932-1989).
Sono redattrice della rivista accademica “La rivista di Arablit”.
Oltre alle mie attività accademiche, sono traduttrice letteraria dall’arabo all’italiano e fondatrice e redattrice della rivista divulgativa “Arabpop. Rivista di arti e letterature contemporanee”.

I am a tenure-track assistant professor (RTT) at Sapienza University of Rome and a Marie Skłodowska-Curie former
research fellow (2021-2024) with a project titled Transnational Maghreb and the International Prize for Arabic Fiction:
Pluralism, inclusiveness, and peaceful coexistence in the contemporary Maghrebi novel — TRANSECT. I hold a PhD fully
funded by Sapienza University of Rome, with a thesis on space and place in the oeuvre of the Jordanian writer and
critic Ghalib Halasa (1932-1989).
I am an editor of the academic journal "La rivista di Arablit".
Besides my academic activities, I am a literary translator from Arabic into Italian and founder and editor of the
magazine “Arabpop. Rivista di arti e letterature contemporanee”.
