Reserved for students who are behind schedule, repeat students (i.e., those who have completed all years of attendance), enrolled part-time; workers; students with disabilities, students diagnosed with specific learning disorders (SLD), with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) upon registration with the Disability and DSA service; family caregivers and young caregivers (upon presenting appropriate documentation of caregiver status to the instructor); student mothers and fathers with children under three years of age, student athletes, students concurrently enrolled in two degree programs, and pregnant students. Curriculum vitae

Professoressa associata presso il Dipartimento di Scienze dell’Antichità della Sapienza Università di Roma, insegna Ecologia preistorica ai corsi di laurea Triennale e Magistrale e alla Scuola di Specializzazione in Beni Archeologici. Inoltre, tiene i corsi di Public Archaeology nel corso di laurea magistrale in Mediterranean Archaeology e di Archeologia pubblica alla Scuola di Specializzazione in Beni Archeologici. Dal 2001 al 2005 ha insegnato Paletnologia presso l’Università di Urbino.
È direttrice della rivista di Ateneo Origini: preistoria e protostoria delle civiltà antiche e, fino a novembre 2023, ha diretto il Museo delle Origini, museo di preistoria dell’Università Sapienza. Fa parte del Collegio dei docenti della Scuola di Dottorato in Archeologia ed è delegata per le attività di Terza Missione del Dipartimento di Scienze dell’Antichità.
È socia dell’Istituto Italiano di Preistoria e Protostoria (IIPP), dell’Associazione Italiana per lo Studio del Quaternario (AIQUA) e dell’Istituto Italiano di Paleontologia Umana (IsIPU).
Dal 2021 dirige il progetto interdisciplinare Grandi Savi Sapienza – “The Farfa Valley Project. Caves, people, and past environments”, conducendo scavi e ricerche a Grotta di Battifratta e Grotta Scura, oltre a ricognizioni archeologiche sull’Altopiano di Rascino e Cornino (RI) in regime di concessione MIC. Ha inoltre condotto scavi e ricerche in Italia, nel Kurdistan iracheno – dove dirige la Missione archeologica nel Jebel Zawa, progetto finanziato dal MAECI – in Libia (Tripolitania) e in Giordania (Deserto orientale e Giordania settentrionale), ed è stata co-direttrice della Missione Italo-libica nel Jebel Gharbi.
È autrice e coautrice di numerose pubblicazioni su riviste, monografie e atti di convegni, e ha collaborato alla realizzazione di diverse iniziative museografiche, tra cui allestimenti di mostre e percorsi museali.

Associate Professor, Department of Ancient Sciences, Sapienza University of Rome. She teaches Prehistoric Ecology in the Bachelor’s and Master’s programs and at the School of Specialization in Archaeological Heritage, as well as Public Archaeology in the Master’s program in Mediterranean Archaeology. From 2001 to 2005, she taught Palaeethnology at the Urbino University.
Editor-in-chief of the university journal Origini: Prehistory and Protohistory of Ancient Civilizations, she directed the Museo delle Origini (Prehistory Museum, Sapienza University) until November 2023. She serves on the faculty board of the Doctoral School in Archaeology and is delegate for Third Mission activities at the Department of Ancient Sciences.
Member of the Italian Institute of Prehistory and Protohistory (IIPP), the Italian Association for Quaternary Studies (AIQUA), and the Italian Institute of Human Paleontology (IsIPU).
Since 2021, she has directed the interdisciplinary Grandi Savi Sapienza – The Farfa Valley Project. Caves, People, and Past Environments, leading excavations at Grotta di Battifratta and Grotta Scura and surveys on the Rascino and Cornino Plateaus (RI, Italy). She has also conducted research in Iraqi Kurdistan (directing the Jebel Zawa Mission, funded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Libya (Tripolitania), and Jordan, and co-directed the Italo-Libyan Mission in Jebel Gharbi.
As an author and co-author of numerous publications in journals, monographs, and conference proceedings, she has also contributed to museum projects, including exhibitions and educational pathways.
