The Course of Traffic Engineering and Intelligent Transport Systems is divided into two parts: one, in the first Semester, is focused on the fundamentals of Traffic Theory and its applications to Traffic Engineering; the other, in the Second Semester, deals with methods and technologies for Traffic Engineering and Intelligent Transport Systems applications. A Traffic Control Project will be prepared by students all along the course.
However, the course is unique and the exam will be held at the end of the whole course, corresponding to the end of the second semester.
The final exam consists of written and oral tests during which the students will present their projects.
An intermediate informal test will be held at the end of the first semester to be exempted from the part of the written exam dealt with during the first semester.
