Professoressa Associata di Lingua e Letteratura Araba (SSD L-OR/12) presso l’Istituto Italiano di Studi Orientali (ISO)- Facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia, Sapienza-Università di Roma, dal 1 settembre 2015.

Membro corrispondente della Académie Royale des Sciences d’Outre-Mer (ARSOM), Belgique. Associé del laboratorio Islam médiévale: éspaces, réseaux et pratiques culturelles UMR 8167 – Orient et Méditerranée del CNRS (Francia) – dal 2013 .

Junior Fellow presso la Scuola Superiore di Studi Avanzati (SSAS) – Sapienza, Università di Roma – per il triennio accademico 2014-17 e per il successivo 2017-20.
Petra Kappert Fellow presso il Centre for the Study of Manuscript Cultures (CSMC), centro di eccellenza dell'università di Amburgo.

Il 18 febbraio 2013 ha conseguito l’abilitazione scientifica nazionale alle funzioni di professore di seconda fascia nel settore 10/N1: Culture del Vicino Oriente Antico, del Medio Oriente e dell’Africa.

Nel 2006 ha ricevuto il Nicholas Lowick Grant della Royal Numismatic Society (London) per ricerche di Numismatica islamica.

Nel 2013 ha ricevuto l’Annual Grant of The Islamic Manuscript Association (Cambridge).

I currently teach Arabic Language and Arabic Palaeography: Codicology and Numismatics.
My main fields of research are: Arabic manuscripts (palaeography, codicology, edition of texts), Papyrology and Islamic Numismatics.

أستاذة اللغة العربية في المعهد الإيطالي للدراسات الشرقية, جامعة روما "سابيينزا " حيث تدرّس حاليا اللغة العربية وعلم الكتابة القديمة العربية
بين عامي 1996 و 2000 درست "اللغات والحضارة الشرقية" في جامعة لا سابينزا روما. وفي وقت لاحق، أنجزت السنة الأولى من الدراسات الأرشيفية (دبلوم المخطوطة حارس) في سكولا سبيزيال لكل أرشيفيستي ه ببليوتيكاري في روما.
من 2001 إلى 2005 حصلت على الدكتوراه في جامعة لا سابينزا في مجال "الحضارة الإسلامية: التاريخ وعلم اللغة". وركزت أطروحتها على المخطوطات اليمنية العربية من القرن الثاني عشر إلى القرن الخامس عشر. بين عامي 2005 و 2006 أكملت دراستها الأرشيفية.
من 2005 إلى 2008 درست اللغة العربية في برنامج الماجستير للدراسات الأوروبية والدولية في كلية سابينزا للاقتصاد.
منذ عام 2008 كانت تبحث في اللغة العربية والأدب كزميل أبحاث في كلية الاستشراق في سابينزا.
في بداية عام 2014 حصلت على مؤهلات محاضرات ما بعد الدكتوراه التي أذنت لها لتدريس كأستاذ مشارك في اللغة العربية والأدب - أستاذ الأستاذية موقف الثقافات القديمة والشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا القديمة
