Oriental Languages and Cultures

Designed for Master students of Arabic language interested in discovering a number of disciplines linked to the Arabic written culture, e.g. Palaeography, Codicology, Numismatics, Papyrology, Sphragistic. From pre-Islamic inscriptions to modern graffiti, a number of written source will be presented and discussed from a philological and historical point of view, in order to highlight their meaning and cultural value.
