MIMMA TAFA'

Professor Mimma Tafà, PhD, is currently a Researcher in Dynamic Psychology (PSI/07) at the Department of Dynamic, Clinical, and Health Psychology, Faculty of Medicine and Psychology, Sapienza University of Rome, and teaches 'Psychodynamics of Relationships' (9 credits) (PPS and PS).
She is a Family Psychotherapist, Clinical Psychologist, and Family Mediator.

The areas of interest for the dissertation include the following topics:
- the phenomenon of 'femicide'
- 'coparenting'
- parenting and its characteristics in united and separated families; the phenomenon of 'spillover'; 'overparenting'; 'helicopter parenting'
- 'grey divorce'
- the 'hikikomori' phenomenon: individual and relational characteristics
- 'international child abduction' in the most recent case studies
- the characteristics of 'family relationships' throughout the family life cycle, in particular: the different current family 'structures' (single-parent and reconstituted family, homoparental, multiethnic, etc.); adolescent self-harm in normative samples but also in LGBT+ adolescents; the child's development (choosing whether to further research the child or the adolescent) in the case of parental separation; domestic violence (choosing between the couple's relationship, the parental relationship, and the effects on the child)
- the adolescent's family well-being;
- parenting support interventions (Neutral Space and Family Mediation)

NOTICE FOR STUDENTS TAKING THE EXAM:
The exam is written and MIXED:
30 multiple-choice questions with 4 alternative answers, plus 1 or 2 open-ended questions to be answered briefly in a few lines.

The total time limit is 40 minutes.
Naturally, the questions will focus on the texts included in the exam syllabus.
