Curriculum

Professor Massimo Breccia is a professor at the Department of Translational and Precision Medicine, University of Rome Sapienza, Italy.
His scientific interests include the diagnosis and treatment of myeloproliferative disorders (including CML and Ph negative diseases), acute promyelocytic leukaemia, myelodysplastic syndromes and acute myeloid leukaemia.
Prof. Breccia has been an author or co-author in more than 500 papers in peer reviewed journals. He is also a member SIES, EHA and participates principal investigator in several clinical trials for CML, AML and MDS. He is vice-president of GIMEMA QoL Working Party and elected member of GIMEMA MPN WP. He is a member of Italian society of Hematology (SIE) and member of the scientific panel of Society of American Onco-Hematology (SOHO).
