Objectives

Educational goals: The course will teach to the students the basics of field mapping.

Learning ouctomes: The student will learn how to use the geological compass, to recognize the most common rocks and to map them.

Prerequisites

Knowledge acquired in GEOLOGIA I MODULO I. From Geografia fisica con elementi di Cartografia e GIS: reading of topographic maps and basics of use of GIS.

Exam modes

A practical test will be performed by the students during the field work and will be based on the field work techniques, on the stratigraphic successions observed in the field and on tectonic structures.
