Global Humanities offers a great number of courses in different fields and this means that learning paths (study plans) can be customised according to your needs, in order to suit the access requirements of the Master of your choice.
To decide which courses you're interested in, you're kindly requested to read carefully the Manifesto (which is the document listing the courses offered for your cohort): the only compulsory exams are  WORDS OF HISTORY: A GLOBAL EXPLORATION and AFRICA AND GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT: AN INTRODUCTION. The others are either elective or free choice exams; for the elective exams, you need to select them according to the instructions of every optional group, while the free choice ones can be picked among all the bachelor's degree courses held in Sapienza.
It doesn't matter how many credits you earn each semester, as long as the Manifesto regulations are followed.

You're required to submit your learning path via Infostud during a dedicated period, from .... to .... Its evaluation can take up to 30 working days. After the approval, it will be possible to request to cancel it just once for the academic year 2025/2026, and during that period. Outside of the aforementioned timeframe, you won't be allowed to request the cancellation of the learning path except for reasons related to the actual availability of mandatory courses, with prior written authorization granted by the Coordinator of the Degree Programme. Without an approved learning path, you'll be able to book and register only for the compulsory exams. If you're willing to submit an individual learning path, you can write to globalhumanities.sapienza@uniroma1.it. In shaping your learning path, you are invited to keep in mind the possible Master's programmes you could access after graduation.
