Salvatore Celozzi is Full Professor of Electrical Engineering in the Electrical Engineering Division of the DIAEE Department of the University of Rome La Sapienza .
He teaches the courses of Elettrotecnica I (L) and Elettrotecnica II (LM) in the Electrical Eng. curricula.
He has published more than 150 papers in international journals or conference proceedings, mainly in the fields of electromagnetic shielding and transmission lines analysis.
He has won the Best Paper Award in 1997 at the International Symposium on High Voltage Engineering (Montreal, Canada) and in 1998 and in 2011 at the IEEE Int. Symposia on Electromagnetic Compatibility.
His current research interests include transmission lines, electromagnetic compatibility, meta- and piezo-materials, and numerical solutions of Maxwell s equations. Prof. Celozzi served as Associate Editor of the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY (1995-2000 and 2016-currently), as Reviewer for a number of Journals and Conferences and authored two book on Electromagnetic Shielding for Wiley in 2008 and 2022, respectively.
