Graduation

The final exam consists of preparing and presenting a final thesis focusing on a topic agreed with a supervisor and relating to a discipline of the degree programme. The final thesis can also be a report regarding a project/internship for companies or research institutes, under the supervision of a member of the Masters degree academic staff. The thesis is a written, and at least partially original, work, through which students demonstrate that they can use concepts and tools acquired during the degree programme in an adequate manner and are capable of making reference to national and international literature. Through the final thesis students acquire 21 credits and they should demonstrate adequate competences in demographic, economical and social studies.
