Course program
The program includes the study of the main cardiovascular, pulmonary, renal, gastroenterological, and autoimmune diseases, with the aim of providing students with a comprehensive overview of the most relevant clinical conditions in the field of internal medicine.
Prerequisites
tudents are required to have general knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and general pathology, which are essential for understanding the mechanisms underlying diseases and for approaching the study of internal medicine with proper awareness.
Books
The recommended textbook for the course is Medicina Interna per Scienze Infermieristiche by Raffaele Antonelli Incalzi, 2nd edition, published by Piccin Editore. This manual provides a clear and updated overview of the main internal medicine conditions, specifically tailored to the educational needs of nursing students.
Frequency
The class schedule will be determined by the Academic Director, taking into consideration classroom availability and the number of University Educational Credits (CFU) assigned to the course. The lecture timetable will be communicated to students well in advance to allow for effective planning.
