Infection control: PDI, sterile field User unit, make free and occupied bed, preparation of the patient and the environment for night rest, factors that influence sleep and rest, sleep disorders. Mobilization, assistance during walk. Prevention of falls. Transport of the patient. Prevention and treatment of compression injuries Observation of the person, skin and mucous membranes, daily personal hygiene, partial and total, specific hygiene with respect to the degree of dependence, use of the frying pan and the retort, informative and educational competence of the nurse in relation to hygiene. Assistance for intestinal and urinary elimination Staff clothing. Observation of the state of nutrition: detection of body weight, food intake, nursing interventions before, after and during the meal, daily water intake. Total enteral nutrition, parenteral nutrition. Observation of breathing, registration of vital parameters. Administration of oxygen therapy Assistance to the patient with fever Assistance to the patient with pain Collection of biological samples blood sample catheterization, enema, gastric lavage disinfectants and their use Request, storage and control of drugs nursing records, guidelines, protocols and procedures. A student must show proof of having acquired sufficient knowledge of the program. To obtain a score of 30/30 cum laude, the student must demonstrate that he or she has acquired an excellent knowledge of all the topics dealt with during the course, being able to connect them in a logical and coherent way during the oral interview with the committee. The content, accuracy, exposition, ability to synthesize and clarity of presentation contribute to the determination of the final grade.
