General and context concepts (8 hours); Basic elements of Infectious Diseases………(8 hours)………………Infectious Diseases, Epidemiologic and clinical aspects of main infectious diseases, nosocomial infections, blood-borne diseases,……………. - Specific study (4 hours);tuberculosis, infectious disease prophylaxis, bone and prosthesis infections, HIV infection, Infection in pregnancy, SNC infection basic principles Elements of infection prevention. - Practical activities, laboratory activities / or exercises (00 hours; if provided) This program will be carried out during the first year of second semester of the CdS with schedule of the lessons published on the website of the CdS in the section dedicated to the timetable of the lessons.

In order to understand the contents of the course and achieve the learning objectives, at the beginning of the teaching activities provided for by the teaching module the student must possess the knowledge of chemistry, physics, biology derived from programs of high school.

Attendance mandatory

This course includes a written…exam that determines the eligibility to take the other teaching modules integrated into the course which will be achieved by the student with a grade of not less than 18/30. To pass the exam it is necessary to achieve a grade of not less than 18/30 in each module. The student must demonstrate that they have acquired a sufficient knowledge of the topics of the course, a basic knowledge of the topics related to risk in workplace. and to be able to .prevent risks associated to work. To achieve a score of 30/30 cum laude, the student must instead demonstrate that he has acquired an excellent knowledge of all the topics covered during the course, being able to connect them in a logical and coherent way. The dates of the exams (eight sessions) are published on the CdS website in the relative section.

The teacher delivers frontal lectures with traditional methods, with audiovisual aids and scheduling of lessons as reported on GOMP Aule/Orari system, published on the website of the CdS.
