At the end of the course students will have to know the general information on emergency medicine and first aid. In particular, students must appropriate appropriate terminology and know the principles of pharmacology and general anesthesia and loco-regional anesthesia with particular reference to subarachnoid and peridural spinal anesthesia; moreover they will have to know how to treat head injury in children and have principles of pediatric resuscitation (BLS-D).
