Course program
Acquisition of knowledge and skills to handle the technical work in the workshop and testing room. Knowledge of the range of prosthetics and orthotics used in modern orthopedic techniques. Being able to understand what is prescribed by the doctor, ability to choose the most appropriate materials for the construction of prostheses and orthoses. Study and analysis for at least 15 orthopedic items listed below: 1. Enveloping insoles for valgus flat feet. 2. Unloading insoles of the 3 'metatarsal on diabetic foot. 3. Brace leg thigh for flexed knee with spreader. 4. Leg leg brace for valgiamo / varismo. 5. Brace leg thigh foot for congenital twisted foot. 6. Thomas bracket for discharge of the lower limb. 7. Transfemoral prosthesis. 8. Transtibial prosthesis. 9. Fabric bust and splints for spondylolysis. 10. Cheneau-type bust for dorsal scoliosis (d8 / 12) left and right lumbar (l2 / 4). 11. Univalifiable (cheneau type) anti-corrosion bust with acromial thrusts. 12. AFO guardian for equine feet. 13. MZ-type torso for collapse of the vertebra D 12. 14. 1/4 foot orthotics for flat feet. 15. Milwaukee corset for scoliosis.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of human anatomy, human physiology and the main musculoskeletal pathologies.
