NURSING INTERNSHIP III
Course objectives
The student acquires the ability to manage nursing problems in critical, maternal-infantile and psychiatric areas. The student also acquires organizational and managerial skills of simple operating units.

Frequency
Attendance is compulsory for all 750 hours (25 credits). At the end of the course, students may take the examination.
Exam mode
Written test including:
calculations and dilution of drugs;
nursing assessment and specific procedures;
practical test and description of intervention methods, using devices in use in healthcare units;
description of protocols and procedures;
description and use of assessment scales.
Development of a nursing care plan.
Lesson mode
The course includes concepts and theories that also come from other nursing courses, which are explained in the classroom. In addition, supervision of the internship is guaranteed by a tutoring system. During the internship, the tutor constantly assesses the student's learning in order to maximise the effectiveness of the training process. The internship is preceded by professional workshops involving the reading of dossiers, multimedia resources and practical exercises.
